Announcement: (Sept 6th 2011)
The ethos of our company is to source local ingredients where possible: So with the impending launch of our new
“Natural Collection” of soaps, we have secured our main ingredient supplier, right on our door step. One of the main ingredients in Soap is unbelievably Water!
So The Little Cornish Soap Company are pleased to announce that, all of our soaps will now be made using Natural Cornish Spring Water, from right here in Bodmin. Yes that’s right, Trekillick Farm on the outskirts of Bodmin is home to a company called Just Water Ltd.
The water is protected from any possible contamination from surface water, the water is filtered in the most natural way, making its way to the surface from deep under the Cornish hills, becoming enriched with minerals as its passes through the rocks.
The Little Cornish Soap Company prides itself on being just that “Natural”, by combining Just Water’s Spring Water into our handmade soaps; we have a final product that will be 100% Natural, after it has finished curing, and truly Cornish!

We know how you men like to kill two birds with one stone, probably a throw back to the good old cavemen days, so we’ve found the perfect product to not only keep your luscious locks in order but give your skin a ruddy good clean too.
The Little Cornish Soap Company have a great range of products bursting with natural and organic ingredients and coming in recyclable packaging, what more could you ask for?
Oh yes, they have a fantastic Organic Men’s Range including this For Men 2 in 1 Shampoo & Bodywash, to keep your bathroom clutter free and all manly.
'[The Little Cornish Soap Company, Formally Known as Tamar Valley Organics is the latest addition to the brands section and the third Cornish natural body care company we’ve added to anderra this year!
Their product range (for men and women) includes shower gels, face creams, shampoo, soaps, lip balms, soy wax candles and pet shampoos – all made from natural, eco friendly ingredients.
One of the reasons we are so excited about this brand is their “think local” approach.
Brochures and promotional materials are designed by themselves and printed locally. They try and source locally grown ingredients for their products where possible and in some cases grow their own.
Their local ingredients include:
- Beeswax and honey from local beekeepers in Cornwall
- They grow their own lavender which is used to make floral infusions and dried petals
- They also grow their own roses that produce rosehips for rosehip oil and floral infusions
- Cornish spring water
As well as thinking locally, they are also passionate about reducing emissions and waste, fair trade and truth in product labelling.
