Information and PolicesHow we deliver:
Deliveries are made either by Royal Mail or DHL dependent on size and destination of the order. With the option of next day delivery with insurance within the UK. Airmail to all countries outside UK. A signature will be required in most cases on receipt of the goods. When we dispatch your order, we will send you an email confirming dispatch and if required with the tracking number and link to the postal or courier services website where you can follow the progress of your package in transit. Delivery times Subject to stock availability, we aim to process and dispatch all orders within 3 business days and you should receive delivery within a further 2-3 business days. For orders destined for outlying areas (i.e. Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands) delivery may take slightly longer. (Bulk Orders are made to order and have a lead time of 5-7 days) No orders are dispatched until we have received full payment for the goods. For cheque orders, there will be a minimum period of 5 business days from when you placed your order until it is dispatched to allow time for your cheque to be received, paid in and cleared to our account.
SHIPPING COSTS:
New Postage Rates, correct as of April 1st 2011, Unfortunatley for the first time since November 2009 we have had to raise our shipping costs,These are as follows.
All Order with a value between
£1 and £4.99 will pay £3.00 P+P
£5 and £9.99 will pay £4.00 P+P
£10 and £14.99 will pay £5.00 P+P
£15 and £25 will pay £5.50 P+P
All orders over the value of £30 are now valid for FREE POSTAGE.
We have 3 day turnaround time on all orders, please allow up to another 7 days for your parcels to arrive. if you have not received your items within 14 days of ordering please contact us and we will try to trace it, we obtain proof of posting for all orders.
Returns & Refunds:
The Little Cornish Soap Company Satisfaction guarantee Our aim is that you will be delighted with our products but if for some reason it does not meet your expectations. We offer a “no quibble” guarantee which means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase you can return it to us within 7 days of purchase as long as it remains unused. We will be happy to provide you with an exchange or refund. Faulty or defective goods If an item is faulty it can be returned for a full refund or exchange. To qualify for a refund or exchange the product must be in otherwise ‘as new’ condition and complete with any included accessories. Our returns policy does not cover faulty goods by accident, neglect or misuse. Damaged goods When accepting delivery of your order, please inspect your goods for any damage before signing. If you are unable to check the goods at the time of delivery, please sign for them as ‘unchecked’ If the goods supplied to you are damaged on delivery, you must notify us within 3 working days. Returns procedure Before you return any items to us, you must contact us to obtain a returns number by sending an email to sales@thelittlecornishsoapcompany.co.uk, with returns in the subject line. You will be provided with a returns number (RMA) which must accompany the items being returned. Without this number, returns will not be accepted. We will provide you with further instructions including the returns address at the time we issue you with this returns number. For your protection, we strongly recommend that you return items by insured delivery as we accept no responsibility for goods that are lost or damaged while being returned to us. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. We will inspect all returned goods and refund the purchase price within 14 days of return. If you do not return the goods as required, we will deduct any part of the costs of returning the items to us not paid by you or the cost of collection incurred by us.

As such we will; • Comply with the requirements of environmental legislation and approved codes of practice • Assess the environmental impact of all historic, current and likely future operations • Continuously seek to improve environmental performance • Reduce pollution, emissions and waste • Reduce the use of all raw materials, energy and supplies • Raise awareness, encourage participation and train employees in environmental matters • Expect similar environmental standards from all suppliers and contractors • Assist customers to use products and services in an environmentally-sensitive way • Liaise with the local community • Participate in discussions about environmental issues. • Use Organic and non synthetic ingredients where possible This policy will be used as a framework for setting and reviewing our environmental objectives and targets.
ETHICAL POLICY :
We would never test our products on animals and insist that all our suppliers have the same stance. We've searched high and low for suppliers that support the same policies as we do in terms of sustainability and environmentally friendly and we ensure that our own production is as environmentally sound as possible. Our packaging is kept to an absolute minimum. We use glass jars and recyclable plastic bottles and we urge all our customers to recycle all their packaging. We aim to maintain a high commitment of sustainability and environmental friendly operations to run in line with our natural, organic and environmentally friendly products.

We are proud that our handmade soaps and natural skincare products comply with all legislation governing the manufacture of cosmetics in the UK and Europe. Our soap and skincare recipes are independently lab tested and certified as safe for use. Our labels use the appropriate latin-style INCI naming standards, Use by dates or logos, batch numbers, country of origin, manufacturers name and address and weight. Privacy Policy ©2011
